I am a member of the Executive Committee of BILETA (British & Irish Law, Education & Technology Association) and the IT editor for the European Journal of Current Legal Interests (EJoCLI).
Prior to joining UEA, I held a Lectureship at the University of Salford and was employed as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Manchester and a Research Assistant at Queen’s University, Belfast. Prior to entering academia, I qualified and practised Law as a Solicitor in Northern Ireland.
I hold both a PhD and MSc in Social Research Methods & Statistics from the University of Manchester, and a PG Cert. in Higher Education Practice & Research from the University of Salford, as well as an LLB (Hons) in Law, a Master of Laws, and a PG Certificate in Professional Legal Studies (Solicitor), from Queen’s University, Belfast. I am a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
